"What can I do about accident prevention, I only work here". Well we all work here and presumably we all want our work area to be safe and healthy as possible. This wont happen if we continually pass the buck. In reality there is a lot all of us can do about accident prevention. It really has to do with being continuously alert to possible hazards and following safe work practices and procedures. Be sure to always:

• Know your job
• Practice good housekeeping
• Dress safely for work
• Always use the proper ppe for the job
• Report all accidents and near misses

These are just a few things that you as an employee can do to ensure that you and the people around you practice safe work procedures.
